Electrical Design Software.

Volts-Optimizing, Standardizing and Automating the Electrical Design Process

 VOLTS  Electrical design software.

How YOU Benefit From Volts Electrical Design Software, At A Glance:

VOLTS electrical design software is a powerful, step-by-step yet comprehensive set of integrated modules which covers a vast array of electrical computations, each one correlating to industry requirements (ANSI, IEEE, NFPA, National Electrical Code & over 250 NEC and IEEE supported tables and specifications) and is coupled with an intuitive graphical interface that forms the benchmark standards for system protection, coordination, application and supporting documentation quality. The seamless integration of the modules and the ability to accommodate the dynamics of specific user requirements facilitates fast and accurate designs meeting the challenges of today's complex electrical systems. VOLTS™ also features the distinguishing capability to accommodate the dynamics of the electrical design process by automating "updates" of upstream over current devices, feeder sizes, raceway sizes, load summaries, etc.; editing or modifying system attributes during the course of the design process is fast and intuitive. VOLTS™ was developed for engineers, electrical designers, electricians and electrical inspectors with unsurpassed functionality and flexibility permitting the user to standardized design preferences and produce over 30 customizable reports, all compliant to industry recognized standards.

VOLTS core module (Circuit Load Analysis and Circuit Layout) facilitates the electrical design process with a simple and efficient method to design and analyze electrical distribution systems by automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks, and standardizing and managing design data. These beneficial features of the program coupled with the base core module - the intuitive wire sizing calculator, i.e., automatically calculating the minimum conductor size based upon circuit load, power factor, efficiency, conductor/cable insulation type, conductor material, ambient and equipment terminal temperatures, raceway size and type, distance, and the maximum voltage drop conforming to ANSI / IEEE Std 141 formula permits accurate and effortless NEC® compliant designs.

VOLTS has also integrated CAD DXF, enabling seamless interoperability between VOLTS™ and AutoCAD® or other DXF [drawing exchange format] CAD programs. This feature enables you to save time and money by eliminating the need to print reports and schedules and have them manually drafted into CAD files. This function helps minimize errors, increase productivity, and leads to improved design documents.

Volts features the most accurate computing formulae available.

We are confident that our product development team members can deliver a superior design analysis tool that can contribute to the success of your organization and can continue to focus on the benefits and features of VOLTS. We would encourage you to get started immediately and download a 10-day free trial format of the software program. Volts' Standard Reports

Accurate computing is lost if the derived information can not be communicated in a specified format. And costly errors result if "spread sheet" reports are not 100% updated with every change in the project.

Volts features a very comprehensive set of standard reports designed to fulfill all analytical, ordinance and governmental reporting. Each report has its own setup features along with numerical options of printing or exporting to various standard formats.

All of Volts' reports are automatically updated with every addition or modification made to the Circuit Load Analysis worksheet.

Additional reports are always added to this large array suiting our client's needs and requirements and with Volts' capabilities expand.

Volts contains 2 record keeping reports, Volts Notes and Circuit Notes designed to record project specific interactions, specifications and modifications.

Knowing that your requirements change from project to project, Volts also features 5 customizable reports which permit you to design special requirement reporting.
